Alan is accredited with the National Council of Psychotherapists as competent to act as a Critical Incident Debriefer and Consultant for both groups and individuals.

Alan has been involved in people development, training, and counselling for over 20 years. His own personal development is very important to him as a qualified and responsible practitioner in the fields of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, counselling, trauma resolution and training. My development is ongoing and thorough as I wish to offer the very best and most effective therapy to all of my clients. Many of my clients come to me from Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and surrounding areas but I have worked recently with clients from as far a field as Australia, Canada, U.S.A and The Channel Islands.

Alan is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register which was established following the Department of Health guidelines recommending that hypnotherapy should have a single, central register of practitioners. All GHR members are required to adhere to a code of ethics.

Alan is a full practicing member of the Register for Trauma Cognisant Counsellors.

He is also registered with the NHS Directory of Complemantary and Alternative Practitioneers, set up in response to Government guidelines to make such a register available.

Also a full member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy which is a long established non profit making association of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists who are committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional competence, and are completely independent of all training organisations and school registers.

The National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) is one of the longest established societies of its type in the United Kingdom, being formed in 1971 following the 'Foster Report' on the statutory registration of psychotherapists. Alan is a Licentiate Member of the NCP.

As a Full Professional Member of the National Phobics Society (NPS) Alan is registered with them as a fully accredited therapist.

Following his intensive training in the use of hypnotherapeutic techniques to help with the relief of tinnitus with the Minnesota Institute of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, he became a member of the British Tinnitus Assocciation in order to keep up to date with latest developments in the field.

Alan is proud to have been awarded the status of 'Validated Practioner' by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council of the United Kingdom.
